Some Videos from the Lions’ Live Uni-Unveiling Event

Most teams nowadays don’t bother with live, runway-style uniform unveilings anymore. That kind of thing mostly went out with the pandemic. But the Lions held such an event last night. It wasn’t livestreamed on the team’s website, but Uni Watch reader Mason Sultana was on hand and shot some video footage of the blue, white, and black designs being being revealed. So if you want to feel like you were there, here you go:

Clearly, you could be forgiven for mistakenly thinking that this was a Ford event, not a Lions event. (Yes, I realize those are pretty much the same thing these days.)

To see my detailed breakdown and assessment of these uniforms, look here.

Big thanks to Mason for sharing these videos with us!

The punch-in analogy is so cringe… are they trying to tell us that hourly workers are fundamental different from everyone else, except Lions players, who get you?

Are they blue collar though? I can’t tell because I’m not seeing any lunch-pails.

Hopefully the Lions don’t mechanize special teams, layoff 2/3 of their O-line, and move their secondary overseas.

But enough about that, let’s talk about the real star of this show: THE ALL NEW FORD BRONCO.
