The Ticker post says Harper has a 16 GAME hitless streak, while Twitter says it’s a 16 AT-BAT hitless streak. Seems to me, that’s a bit of a difference.
Thanks. Fixed!
It also says he shaved his HEAD at the top of the post, and then that he shaved his BEARD in the link. Also seems to be quite a difference.
That part is my fault. Now fixed.
If he went 16 games without a hit, he might have shaved his head.
It seems like Travis Hunter’s two-helmet set up is likely a function of being a two-way player, coached by Deion Sanders. Deion wore a Riddell RB-Eyeglass-Protection face mask on defense, and wore a standard 2-bar wide receiver face mask on offense for a wider field of view.
*Hunter is going with the exact same setup.
Similar effect but a different approach . As a player Sanders wore the same helmet model (whatever Schutt Air Power/Pro Air he liked) with the 2 different facemasks.
Hunter is actually wearing 2 completely different helmets- a Schutt V7 on defense and a Riddell SpeedFlex on offense.
As someone who has to work games at Air Force’s stadium, can I suggest a freakin’ elevator so I don’t have to traipse my 53-year old ass up three decks of stands to the press box at 6,600 feet of elevation?
Maybe?
If the Bengals made primary white jersey and white pants their alternate for the white helmet how can they make the orange helmet combo work? Unless of course they are keeping the CR white?
I’m assuming the article about the Sabres has been updated since it was posted here, as it now contains the dates on which they’ll be wearing their alternates.
Actually, if you look again at the article, you’ll see that they listed dates for various theme nights, but not for the 15 “goat head” games.
My mistake!
Someone should tell the first guy in the Penn State ticket debate that there will come a time when he will have no idea where those ticket stubs are (they will be in a box in the garage) and a later time when his kids will wonder why their late father held onto them.
Do you REALLY need a keepsake from the game against Buffalo in September 2019? Really? (I have tons of ticket stubs, but I am old and a packrat and I have to admit it is silly to still have them.)
Many umpires wear pink shirts on Mother’s Day or for breast cancer awareness-related games/tournaments.
I was saddened by the mentioning of instafans in the PSU student section who leave in the second quarter after acting up in front of their phone. Why do they exist?
