Just a heads up, yesterday and today are dated as 2022!
Thanks. Fixed!
GB/ATL is going to be terrific, as will CLE/PIT (or is it PGH?)…I’m hoping MIA doesn’t wear aqua pants/leotards for the return of Pat patriot. Fingers crossed.
There’s probably little chance the Chiefs go white-over-white in Jacksonville? They have been saving that look for divisional games IIRC.
How great would it be if the Patriots convince the NFL to let them wear the throwbacks when they visit Miami? Doubt it could happen. But………
By rule, the Pats could wear their Pat Patriots a maximum of three times/season (or any combination of throwback/alt/CR); I believe they will wear the PP’s twice (both at home). Most clubs chose to wear their alt/throwback/CR at home (for merch as well as sentimental reasons), but some do wear their non-primaries on the road (like da Bears at TB this weekend).
So I think they *could* technically wear them in Miami, so long as that wouldn’t exceed the 3x/season alt rule.
But honestly, and as great as it would be to see, why would the Pats *waste* one of their wearings on the road?
“But honestly, and as great as it would be to see, why would the Pats *waste* one of their wearings on the road?” – like the Browns are doing this week.
Of course I’d Luv to see the Titans wear THEIR throwbacks Week 17 @ Houston!
It’s not a waste, because your fans are going to be watching the game anyway.
It’s so infuriating that the Pats and Phins are wearing their throwbacks against each other – just not a the same time.
There’s probably little chance the Chiefs go white-over-white in Jacksonville?
Sure hope not.
Even if I liked them in white pants… black/teal/teal vs red/white/white? No thanks. It would look like Coastal Carolina hosting Louisiana-Lafayette.
“Colorado has placed a large black and gold throne behind the home bench at Folsom Field that some are speculating is for celebrating big plays”
– The giant throne is actually there for when Colorado’s buffalo mascot, Ralphie, needs to do his “business” down on the field.

Can’t believe we haven’t gotten a leak on the new Bruins unis, only 1 day left.
The Flyers are spot on with the center ice logos. I could be wrong but I feel like before the 90s most rinks had a small single or double logo at center ice and it feels nostalgic. The playing surface can appear so cluttered with advertisements that Philly’s adjustment helps balance a bit.
It is the ice of the Spectrum from my childhood, or as close as you are going to get when every square inch is a forum for ad revenue. Now, they just have to go all the way. Get rid of the contrast-color nameplate (it’s played out at this point), bring the black trim striping back (it looks wrong without it), fix the sleeve numbers (looks like a knockoff jersey I would have bought at the Pennsauken Mart as a youth tight on funds) and get rid of that godawful eyeball-searing blue ad patch, and we will be set for once the talent develops into a team worth watching.
More evidence that no NHL team lives in the past like the Flyers.
; )
They’re the NHL’s version of the Oakland/LA/Oakland/LV Raiders.
I don’t have a problem with living in the past, unless it’s a dirty past.
I at first thought “teal for JAX and alternate for CHI” meant that they were playing each other, and my brain oozed a little out of my ear at the though of teal vs orange on an NFL field.
Teal vs orange would be nice…in context.
The Bears alt does nothing for me.
I’m not sure I would call Penn State’s men’s soccer team’s new uniforms “throwbacks.” They’re barely even “fauxbacks.” They’re just new, modern-styled uniforms rendered in Penn State’s original school colors of pink and black.
K-State, please NOOOOO!. The current uni set is one of the best out there. No uni-shenanigans for the ‘Cats, OK?
Debatable throwback rankings. They like the Saints black helmet with the throwback? No thank you. The one thing I think we can all agree on is that the Lions throwback should always be worn on Thanksgiving. The fact that it isn’t in addition to them wearing mono gray is one of the worst uniform decisions in the NFL.
Technically, the Flyers have an old center ice design (one that never should have been changed in the first place).
And hopefully the Jets don’t pack the green pants for the trip to Dallas.
The bears orange on orange is horrible.
