I remember when TV shows in the 80’s had a roller derby episode, CHiPs, Laverne & Shirley, don’t remember who else, think Battlestar Galactica, even…or was it Buck Rogers?

    Re: Rugby sock shenanigans.

Whenever a unified British Lions rugby team takes to the pitch, you can tell where the players are from because of their socks. England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland all have different socks but wear the same tops.

After seeing the Irish Rugby kit on TV yesterday from the Rugby World Cup, I think that green popped quite well. It’s not a traditional green worn by Ireland, but you could sure tell it was Ireland playing. Unlike today where South Africa played in a uniform that you had no idea was associated with South Africa.
