TIL Slamball still exists
Some of the Auburn concept uniforms are pretty nice! I like the striped helmet and facemask with the vertical stripes down the jersey.
Thanks, David! These are always a lot of fun to put together
Thanks Lloyd for always linking my articles – I appreciate you.
Those Kings’ scripts are nice; a good development since the team’s current titles are butt-ugly.
Am I missing something? The Caps/Wizards owner’s company owns the arena (only 25 years old), and wants to meet with DC leaders about potential improvements? Just make the improvements, you own it. Stop looking for a handout.
But if you do want a handout, right city to beg for it in.
A 25-year old arena is now a relic that must be replaced, or else—wait for it—the owner will consider moving? Ridiculous. This country can’t build anything anymore—except stadiums and arenas.
I like that new shade of gray for the Kings.
I like how the serif on the “K” in the new Kings’ font mimics the lilt of their Lion’s tail. I wonder if that was intentional.
