The Nationals Bullpen Cart does serve a purpose, it’s a bullpen cart.

It’s just that only Sean Doolittle (and one other pitcher, can’t remember who but I know I was there when it happened) uses it it. Doolittle uses it wherever it’s available (DC and Arizona come to mind).

Proofreading/technical correction: the link for the championship ring for Frederick Douglass High is pointing to the URL for Bloomfield High. Here’s the correct link:

The Rooster is HOF material and absolutely deserves to be honored (and has been through the Darlington throwback program before IIRC), but I’d rather see Aric Almirola’s #10 riff his famous Tide Ride than watching a wrong-looking Rudd tribute car go round and round. Have Suarez pay homage to a great #99 driver – Carl Edwards.
Damn shame how moving the door numbers up makes for terrible tribute schemes-do better, NASCAR!

Late to the party but it is worth noting that the Lucha Libre masks were gifted to the team by the legendary Rey Mysterio Jr. and were in the design of his mask. One day I shall fully nerd out and submit an article detailing the history of masks in pro wrestling. The evolution from what they were and how they look now is neat.
