    You’re not losing your mind.

Second sentence of this post reads: “As you’ll see, most of these caps were also worn in 2024.”

The Yankees home cap has some historical precedent – they wore something very similar in 1920 or so.

Any word on St. Patrick’s Day hats? I saw fanatics has a new mlb St Patrick’s Day t-shirts, sweatshirts, and zip up jackets that were just posted today, but no hats.

There’s a few I quite like and wouldn’t mind seeing as occasional regular season alternates: Detroit, St. Louis, Tampa (especially since they’ll be out in the sun this year). And there’s a few I dislike: Washington, Chicago, NYY.

BUT, I truly do not care for some of the slightly pastel tones on hats like the A’s, Astros, or Mariners. A slightly richer tone on all of those, would greatly improve them.

But all in all, it’s really hard to care very deeply about any of these designs that are only really more merch dumps.

The change you are thinking of is just a fashion hat, they are keeping the same road hat as last year. All 30 teams have a grey fashion hat but its not going to be wore on-field.

Is the ST patch just one piece that you can rip the seam out of along the edge or is it the whole thing/design embroidered on the hat like the main logo or new era one?

Gee, I can’t wait until they release the Waiting in the On-Deck Circle caps and the Warming Up in the Bullpen caps!!!

Where are the 9TWENTY spring training caps? It’s the only style not released this year. All other styles came out today. Anyone know why they didn’t release the 9twenty dad hat?

I have literally been waiting DECADES for the Yankees to bring these throwback caps back in any capacity. Spring Training or not, I’m STOKED.

The Cincinnati Bengals Tigers hat is interesting. Lol. The sharpest are Cubs and Phillies, great looks. The worst is Mr Potato Head Mets cap, looks awful.

That Cubs cap was a Spring Training smash last season. I was at three games, those flew off the shelves. I’ve been going to ST for years. Of all the ST caps that have been produced, that one’s a winner. (2023 was horrible) Too bad it’s not an ALT cap for the season.
