The team will wear all three sweaters at home this season
The Minnesota Wild have announced their home jersey schedule for the upcoming season. The team will wear three different uniforms for the 2024-25 campaign: the home, the “78” alternates, and their white roads. They’ll actually wear the white jersey at home once this season, for a special “White Out” game.
While the team has noted that the below uniforms/dates are “subject to change,” they plan to wear the following uniforms on the following dates:
CLASSIC

The “Classic” home uniform will be worn: October 10 vs. CBJ, October 12 vs. SEA, November 5 vs. LAK, November 14 vs. MTL, November 25 vs. WPG, December 3 vs. VAN, December 12 vs. EDM, December 15 vs. VGK, December 20 vs. UTA, December 29 vs. OTT, January 7 vs. STL, January 9 vs. COL, January 15 vs. EDM, January 23 vs. UTA, February 6 vs. CAR, February 25 vs. DET, March 11 vs. COL, March 13 vs. NYR, March 19 vs. SEA, March 22 vs. BUF, March 25 vs. VGK, March 27 vs. WSH, April 6 vs. DAL, April 9 vs. SJS, and April 15 vs. ANA.
“78s” ALTERNATE

The alternate uniform will be worn: November 1 vs. TBL, November 16 vs. DAL, December 14 vs. PHI, December 23 vs. CHI, January 25 vs. CGY,
March 2 vs. BOS, March 15 vs. STL, March 29 vs. NJD, November 3 vs. TOR, November 29 vs. CHI, December 18 vs. FLA, December 31 vs. NSH, February 8 vs. NYI, March 9 vs. PIT, March 17 vs. LAK
WHITEOUT

The whiteout (road) uniform will be worn once, on November 30th, against Nashville.
Many fans want to see kelly green and yellow as primary look.
Even if they stay forest green and red, this uniform really needs a redesign. More red trim, less dull white colour. Maybe the Halifax Mooseheads could be inspiration? Any recent forest green and red uniform design worn by QMJHL’s Halifax Mooseheads is preferable to me than what the Wild have been sporting as their primary threads.

Ohhh. I like those! Hopefully the Devils won’t send them a C&D letter, a la the Titans with H-Town blue teams ;)
One of the opponents the Wild will play when wearing those Northstars-influenced alts is Dallas – the Stars should counter by wearing these:

I’d like that!
I agree that having the “Minnesota wheat” color as the primary accent color on the green jerseys is played out. I’ve actually been tired of hockey uniforms looking dingy and dirty because of the overly generous use of these off-white shades (whether it’s “wheat”, “sand”, or “vintage white” or whatever) for a good long time now. About the only jersey I’ve ever thought it didn’t make it look dirty was the 2010 Boston Bruins Winter Classic jerseys, because the athletic gold and dark brown as the primary and secondary colors practically negated the “dingy” effect of the vintage white.
Lead/preview graphic isn’t showing up on the main page for me.
That’s because I effed up.
Should be fixed now.
That ad patch is still absolutely terrible.
Yeah, and it clashes, but not as badly as, say, the Toronto-Dominion patch on the Canucks’ blue and (especially) black jerseys, or the GIANT FREAKING SACK OF CONCRETE patch on the Atlanta baseball team’s jerseys.
That is to say, all ad patches are terrible, but some are especially terrible.
I hate the fake laces on the collar of the home and white jerseys. If you’re going to put laces on the collar of a hockey jersey, they should tie, like the Rangers blue sweater. Also, the NHL really needs to go back to whites at home.
I actually like those laces. The Avs have a similar design, and it has grown on me over the years.
Go back to the North Star colors, as was rumored earlier this year (fanbase got excited, team squashed idea, go figure). I appreciate the Wild’s design elements, and making major color changes is not always easy. But the hard truths are nearly 25 years into this the Wild trademark/design has no real impact, the team itself has no Stanley Cup berths in them, no major HOFers people are nostalgic for, and sometimes just a revamp is a good change-up. The “North Stars” look, if they legally are able to do it full-time, gets fans excited, it’s a GREAT throwback concept, and it has a ton of history in the state. It’s a hockey uniform. Keep the main bear head logo, fine. But do this starting next season – and watch the love come in.
Not a fan of the shoulder yoke heavy white jersey but the team should stick with forest green and red as primary colors. The North Stars are a thing of the past. You have an unique name and identity with the Wild, enjoy it while you can. By now this extends to the Oilers/Texans and Jazz/Pelicans identities as well: embrace your new identity, having the old one back can onle be disappointing (except for the Charlotte Hornets: the Bobcats era was horrible from a logo/uniform point of view). Oh yes, the Canes from Whalers transistion is still an eyesore as well. My least and best liked NHL logos in the same franchise.
