NCAA Power 5 Uniform & Duck Tracking for Week Ten

NCAA Uni Tracking

Uni Watch will again track the uniform combinations worn by the “Power 5” conferences. This year we welcome back all but one of the 2021 Uniform Trackers.

We’ve got Rex Henry (tracking the ACC), Dennis Bolt (tracking the PAC-12), and Ethan Dimitroff (tracking the Big XII AND the SEC). New this year is James Hill, who has taken over the B1G tracking duties.

Here are the Uni Trackers for the Power 5 Conferences (along with each tracker’s info).

Following the Power 5 tracking, once again, Dennis Bolt returns with his Duck Tracking (which is the longest continuously-running feature on SMUW!)

Welcome to the 2022 Oregon Ducks Uni Tracker. This little project was originally begun way back in 2008-09 by Michael Princip, who retired after several seasons, whereupon the project was continued by Tim E. O’Brien. He, too, retired from the tracking, but the project has been ably kept up by the man who also tracks the Pac12, Dennis Bolt.

Here’s this weeks combo for the Ducks:

You can read about this uniform, and MUCH MORE, by checking out the Duck Tracker here and the color combo spreadsheet here!

Thanks Dennis!

Oregon and their rotating uniforms of barf are an absolute joke.
Someone should revoke the Nike contract. Speckled jerseys?! Just say no!
Go back to the classics, please.

You (probably) know I have — and have had for more than a decade — a love/hate relationship with Nikegon and their unis. Some of them are really really good and some of them are really REALLY bad. Not innovative, just bad. The bird shit uniform is one of those. It wasn’t *as* bad since they paired the bird shit jersey with the nightmare green hat and britches, but still bad.

Full egg shell bird shit with matching compression sleeves is the worst: link

Half bird shit (green hats & pants) is marginally better: link

To be honest I’m not a fan of eggshell but at least this wasn’t mono eggshell. But after them wearing this jersey 4-5 times in last year I hope they retire it. And the ducks have been pretty retrained the last few seasons. Your comment is more accurate for a few seasons back. Now every team in football rotates so much.

I agree with you. I posted last week that NCAA needs to put some appearance rules like the NFL. One would be to limit how many uniforms a team can use in a year.

Northwestern wore purple pants yesterday, not black, although it was hard to see that at times.

I love the Egg Shell uni’s, and the silver shoulder “wing graphic” pops beautifully against the white and black egg shell spec’s. Oregon innovates both on offense and in appearance. I, of course, love the traditional UO helmet decal paired with traditional green and yellow, but please remember fans, OREGON IS ABOUT INNOVATION. Our egg hell uni’s exemplify this attitude. Calling them bird shit deflates your argument and lowers the conversation. Go DUCKS, and down with the Fuskies.
